Brexit is getting real. The transition period ends in around ten weeks’ time and nobody yet knows if we are going to have a trade deal with the EU or not. You wake up one morning and Boris Johnson is addressing us in Downing Street telling us to prepare for no deal and the next day the parties agree to negotiate more intensively or say the door is still ajar. All bets are off, but in the meantime, you have a business to run – how on earth are you supposed to plan?

My colleague Jo Farmer has put together an updated briefing on some of the key commercial law areas you need to think about, and also points you towards some of our colleagues’ briefings and FAQs in other areas such as IP and employment law within our Brexit hub.
